About

I've spent more than 25 years sitting with people in some of the most difficult moments of their lives — and I consider it a profound privilege. Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, a relationship in crisis, or simply a quiet sense that something needs to change, I'm here to help you find your way through.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. My practice is based in Victoria, BC, and I work with adults, seniors, and couples.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each person's unique story — trauma-informed, family-systems oriented, and attachment based. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
As a Christian, I offer a Bible-based faith perspective for those who are interested.
My Approach
Whatever brings you to counselling, you will be met with warmth and without judgment. There is no story too complicated, no feeling too difficult to bring into the room.
Healing is not linear and it cannot be rushed. I follow your lead, honouring where you are and what you need at each stage of the work.
With over 25 years of clinical practice across a wide range of presenting concerns, I bring both breadth of knowledge and genuine attentiveness to every therapeutic relationship.
Counselling works best when it feels like a partnership. I bring my training and experience; you bring your lived knowledge of yourself. Together we find the way forward.
Training & Background
My clinical training spans individual therapy, couples counselling, group work, and clinical supervision. Over the years I have worked with clients across the full lifespan — from young adults navigating identity and transition, to seniors facing the particular challenges of aging, loss, and meaning-making.
I have particular experience in grief and bereavement, anxiety and depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and the complex intersection of faith and mental health. I also have deep experience supporting people through chronic illness, retirement transitions, and workplace concerns.
As an Approved Clinical Supervisor, I bring this breadth of experience to the counsellors I supervise — supporting their professional development with the same care and attentiveness I bring to my direct client work.
