Clinical Supervision
About This Service
As an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, I offer supervision to registered counsellors and RCC candidates across a range of practice settings.
Good supervision is one of the most important investments a counsellor can make in their professional development — and in the quality of care they provide to clients. I take that responsibility seriously.
My supervision draws on more than 25+ years of direct clinical experience across individual, couples, and group modalities, and a wide range of presenting concerns. I bring both clinical depth and genuine care for the practitioners I work with.
What I Offer
One-on-one supervision tailored to your caseload, developmental stage, and professional goals. Sessions provide a reflective space to explore clinical challenges, ethical dilemmas, and your growth as a practitioner.
Small group supervision for counsellors who benefit from peer learning alongside supervisor guidance. Group formats offer diverse perspectives and a sense of professional community.
Structured supervision to support counsellors working toward their RCC designation with the BCACC. I am familiar with the requirements and can help you document and meet your supervised hours.
For registered counsellors seeking a second perspective on complex cases, ethical questions, or professional challenges. Consultation is available on an as-needed basis.
My Approach
Supervision is most effective when it feels like a genuine professional relationship — not an evaluation. I aim to create a space where you can bring your uncertainties, your mistakes, and your growth edges without fear of judgment.
Where you are in your career shapes what you need from supervision. I meet you at your developmental stage — whether you are newly registered, mid-career, or an experienced practitioner navigating new territory.
With over 25+ years of direct clinical practice across a wide range of presenting concerns, I bring substantive clinical knowledge to the supervisory relationship — not just process facilitation.
Ethical practice is at the heart of good supervision. I bring careful attention to the ethical dimensions of clinical work and support supervisees in developing their own ethical reasoning and confidence.
